Born in Brooklyn, made with love, now in Africa, Carol’s Daughter, haircare designed to care for curls, kinks, and waves in now available in South Africa.
Founded by Lisa Price in 1993 after being encouraged by her mother, Carol. Lisa began creating high-quality products made with love in her kitchen in Brooklyn. As family and friends experienced how these products transformed their hair and skin, she knew that she was on to something good.
When she decided to formally create a brand, she needed a name for her company, so she made a list of everything she was and everything she wanted to be, and in the end that realized the most special thing that she is, is Lisa, Carol’s Daughter.
Carol’s Daughter consists of three product variants for different types of hair,
- Black Vanilla – Replenishes moisture, improves manageability, adds shines
- Hair Milk – intensely conditions, restores moisture and protects against frizz
- Rassoul Clay Sulfate – Purifies, gently cleanses, softens
Black Vanilla On Trial
The Black Vanilla range contains no silicones, no parabens, no mineral oil, no artificial colors, and no petroleum, so basically, the perfect product for Ava’s unmanagable, exceptionally dry and brittle hair.
The main ingredients include vanilla, sweet clover extract, shea butter, and aloe leaf juice and so with those ingredients, it’s no wonder, the products smell amazing.
Ava has been using the shampoo, conditioner, hair smoothie and leave-in conditioner and while I don’t believe anything will ever tame her mane, her hair is certainly feeling softer and smoother since we started using these products a few weeks ago.
