On Friday, Ava and I were invited to attend the Disney On Ice 100 Years Of Magic show. I’ve wanted to take her in previous years but was always hesitant to do so as she’s not great at sitting still for extended periods, she still has NEVER sat through an entire movie or DVD so I was worried how she’s handle the show.

I needn’t have worried. She LOVED it and was utterly spellbound from the start of the show to the final seconds, when the characters came onto the ice for an encore and she rushed the stage and got to “meet” Simba and Nala her two greatest Disney hero’s! HRP_DOI20_09.MINNIE AND MICKEY

The show started shortly after 15h00, hosted by Mickey & Minnie, the show took us on a journey through some of Disney’s most loved characters and scenes. There was literally something for everyone,  Jiminy Cricket & Pinnochio, Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, Jasmine & Alladin, Moulan, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, literally all the big Disney characters were there and my child was spellbound & sat throughout the entire show with a huge grin & look of wonder on her face!

The costumes were spectacular and there were a number of awesome special effects which really added to the atmosphere.. special lighting effects, bubbles, snow & even fire works!

But parents be warned, there are amazing merchandise stands outside the main arena and it is very very expensive but really quite stunning, so go with lots of cash!
