Let’s get with Viva Lily Menstrual Cup

Have you used a menstrual cup before? What was your experience?

I recently got sent a Viva Lily Cup to try and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use, especially as I had tried using a menstrual cup about 12 years ago and at that stage had found it incredibly uncomfortable, and eventually, I had given up.

But it would seem that menstrual cups have come a long way in the last decade and the Viva Lily Cup is much softer than the previous cup I had tried and has a smoother outer bell with no ridging which makes it much more comfortable to use. I had success literally the first time I inserted it but I had read up all the useful tips and tricks over on Viva Lily’s website which was extremely helpful.

Menstrual cups like Viva Lily  are much healthier & more sustainable options, not to mention more convenient:
Comfortable – No pad bulges or wet strings so you can wear what you like.
Confidence – No odours means no more fear of people knowing you are on your period.
Healthier – Non-absorbing so it doesn’t affect your Ph and flora balance.
Safer – No toxins or chemicals so less risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome.
Sustainable – One cup lasts up to 10 years.
Cost Effective – One reusable cup = 2640 tampons/pads.
Eco-friendly – Plastic free, vegan friendly and cruelty free.
Freedom – Swim, exercise and sleep proof.
Convenience – Wear for up to 12 hours (no need to change in public bathrooms).
Liberating – Better understanding of how your body works.
Better – May experience shorter, less painful periods.

It’s a NO BRAINER right?

I’d love to hear your experiences and tips and tricks with a menstrual cup.
