I’m not a new fan of African Extracts Rooibos AdvantAGE range, in fact, I have reviewed some of these products in the past. This range is one of the fastest growing AND Top selling South African Face Care brands currently and there are a lot of good reasons why:
Key Features:
- Endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty
- Vegan-friendly (except Intensive Night Cream which contains
lanolin) - No parabens
- Dermatologically tested
- Rich in antioxidants
And now there are even more reasons to love African Extracts Rooibos AdvantAGE
New Improved Tissue Oil
If you’ve read any of my beauty related reviews, you will know that I am a HUGE fan of face and body oils. And this one is no different, I love it.
I know a lot of people worry about using oils on their faces, but you needn’t. This tissue oil has a light formula, with absolutely no mineral oils, colorants, preservatives or perfumes in it and you’ll find so many uses for it too, you can apply it under your day or night cream for additional moisture and to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, I do this every night. You can also apply to brittle nails and it makes a great cuticle oil, even spray it on your hair as a deep moisturizing treatment or massage it into your scalp if you have dry scalp. I even add a few sprays into my hand before applying body lotion, tissue oil is great for scarring, stretch marks, and dry, rough skin patches.
The new improved Tissue Oil is available for only R119,99.
AdvantAGE Regenerating Eye Cream
I’ve used this product before but previously, it was only available in a tub, so I’m thrilled to see it is now available in a pump action tube, just so much more hygienic in terms of repeated uses. This eye treatment is not only great for reducing the appearance of fine lines and dark circles, but it also reduces puffiness around the eyes and I don’t know about you guys, but I often wake up these days with puffy looking eyes.
This product is available for just R172,99 which is a brilliant price for an eye treatment.
Misting Toner
This is brand new from African Extracts and I am loving this product. A good toner has been one of the key steps missing from my skin care regimen for a while now and I love this one. You can just mist it directly onto your face after cleansing, morning and evening, before applying your day or night cream. You can also use it as a finishing spray for your makeup, I haven’t tried this yet, but I will and I’ll let you know how I find it or, combine it with a few drops of AdvantAGE Daily Repair Facial Oil to remove your makeup.
Best of all, it’s only R119,99!
The entire AdvantAGE range is suitable for women over the age of 35 with visible signs of aging and skin that require moisture. I love the philosophy behind African Extracts, authentic, effective and affordable products that combine the science of contemporary skincare with the proven efficacy of natural plant extracts. It’s also readily and easily available from Clicks, Dischem, selected pharmacies, Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers and online from Takealot.

A big birthday is looming…I’m turning 40 in October. Not that I mind getting older that much, but, where did time go?! And with it, I definitely lost some moisture concerning my skin.
