Who doesn’t love gorgeous, luscious lashes right? The perfect frame to make the windows of your soul pop. I have always thought that my eyes were one of my more striking features and always like to enhance them. I remember when I was studying beauty therapy and going through the professional make up module, it was drilled into us, you chose one area of the face to highlight, not all, either you highlight your lips or you highlight your eyes. Well I always focus on highlighting my eyes.
But the thing is, I’m naturally fair, I have dirty blonde hair and lightish lashes. So although they are not exactly sparse, because they are light, you really can’t notice them unless I am wearing make up.
So when Ros from Sorbet Fourways invited me to be a model for Preshi, who has completed the Lash Extension module and is preparing for her exam, I jumped at the chance.
Lash extensions usually cost R640 for a full set and R370 for a fill which needs to be done every two to three weeks. The process itself was completely painless, if not a little weird! I mean, they tape your lower lids and lashes to keep them out the way while they’re working and you get to lie there, with your eyes closed for a couple of hours! Not horrid right?
And the results…. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Best of all guys, not more hassling with mascara! You won’t wear mascara when you’re wearing lash extensions… ever! How gorgeous are the results? I am mad about it!
Check this out, this is a no make up selfie, top is without extensions, bottom is with the extensions! How are those results! And I didn’t choose an extra length or extra thick look either, I wanted to enhance but keep it looking as natural as possible!
What do you think? Want to help Preshi by being a model for her? You get a gorgeous set of lashes valued at R640 out of the deal? Keen?
