They say a woman’s hair is her crowning glory. In our home, with three girls, there are a lot of hairy crowns that are often less than glorious! Between, Ava, Hannah and I, there is a lot of hair, but each one of us struggles with our own unique hair concerns. 

Hannah probably has the easiest hair out of the three of us. Her hair is soft & fine with a beautiful soft curl and not a spot of frizz anywhere. Mine is slightly more difficult to manage, let’s just say that in its natural state, my hair is Jon Bon Jozi Living On A Prayer mess of frizz & unruly waves. And Ava’s is by far the MOST difficult hair to manage. This kid has enough hair on her head that we could share it between 5 women and still she’d have enough left over to share. But, her hair is coarse and frizzy and she hates it. She often cries about how in its natural state, she looks like Penny Wise! 

Finding the right hair products.

 

This has always been a challenge. Because my hair is coloured and Ava’s hair is so very dry, we only use paraben and sulphate free hair products, which are not always freely or easily available in pharmacies or supermarkets and they’re often very expensive too.

My thoughts

I used the shampoo on both mine and Ava’s hair for the past week. Everyone has commented on my hair. It looks smoother and brighter and has required minimal styling.  The co-wash conditioning formula did take a little getting used to because it doesn’t lather like a traditional shampoo. But the results have been amazing. I’m especially impressed with how soft and smooth is made Ava’s coarse, dry hair.
