It’s cruelty-free, paraben free and vegan-friendly, packed full of active ingredients AND it’s also local. How many more reasons do you need to try The Outpost Beauty?
On Trial With Kween B
As an ex-skin care therapist and a more mature woman, always looking for budget-friendly products, this range really appealed to me. When they first contacted me for a review, I logged onto their website and the first thing that caught my eye was their great variety of anti-aging serums.
Retinol A Serum
I chose to trial the Retinol A Serum because I am such a firm believer in the collagen boosting effects of Retinol A.
Aside from the Retinol A, which reduces the appearance of fine lines, smooths texture and reduces pigmentation and dark spots, this serum also contains Vitamin C which is also great for collagen production and is a great antioxidant. Other beneficial ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E.
I’ve been using this serum at night under my night cream and I’m convinced my skin has started to appear smoother and it feels softer. Just remember whenever you’re using products that contain Retinol A or Hyaluronic Acid that you must wear high factor sunscreen daily.
One of the biggest benefits of The Outpost Beauty Serums is the price tag. So often serums are extremely pricey but his one is available for R480.
Eye Restore Cream
I also opted to try the Eye Restore Cream.
I really liked the way this product was packaged. Eye cream is precious and so often I land up wasting it when it comes in pots (not my favorite for hygiene reasons) and tubes because I tend to squeeze too much out the tube. So the pump action of the Eye Restore Cream was great. Additionally, I liked that it was odorless and light.
The Eye Restore Cream is great for smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, reducing puffiness and smoothing out dark circles. It’s packed full of Vitamins and peptides which are great for the delicate skin around your eyes. It’s also really well priced at R385.
Overall Impression of The Outpost Beauty
The range is limited to the serum selection and eye cream and face cream, however, I am really impressed with the list of active ingredients specifically selected for the products. Quite clearly a lot of thought and research has gone into the creation of these products. And best of all, the fact that the products are local and cruelty-free while being top quality and budget-friendly is a huge brand plus for me.
