The Skylanders franchise, is, in my unbiased opinion (in the interests of full disclosure, I work for the company that distributes this product locally) the best of all the “toys-to-life” video games. It’s also the original “toys-to-life” game, which makes it, in my opinion, cutting edge and the leader in this arena. 

A brief Skylander history:

This is the 6th installment in the Skylander franchise. When it first released, back in 2011, we had Spyro’s Adventures, followed by Giants, Trap Team, Swap Force and then last year we got SuperChargers. Unlike the competition, Skylanders started out as a video game and then branched into other areas, making it truly original.

Recently released TV Show

Skylanders Academy, which is the TV show for the fans of Skylanders, recently launched on Netflix too, so when Ava is not playing Skylanders, she’s watching Skylanders and Hannah has become a fan of the TV show too!
