Last year I reviewed the Spindel Drier and with the winter just around the corner, I will be making use of my trusty drier again.

The Spindel helps you get your laundry done in not time, even in the wet (if you’re in Cape Town) or freezing cold (Jozi) winter months. It uses spin power instead of heat to quickly remove moisture from fabrics, even delicates and hand wash items, it’s safe for all fabric types, leaving them with 80% less moisture in just 3 minutes. It can be used with both machine washed and hand washed items. It’s also very energy efficient, using 100 times less power than a traditional tumble drier. It is even safe to use on your warm, winter woolies, no stretching or pulling garments out of shape. It also removes the last remaining traces of detergent from garments that would normally be left to dry into the fabrics.

The thing that I love most about our Spindel is that my clothes can still be air dried and because they go on the line so much drier after going through the Spindel, they don’t get that damp, musty spell that is so often associated with slow drying laundry during the cold and/or wet winter months.
