In collaboration with Pedirelax

Summertime…. and the living is easy…. or rather and we’re living in flip flops and sandals. Not a time for ugly feet right? But, I have a big problem with the majority of specialty heel and foot creams, they make my feet so greasy, I land up sliding around in side my shoes. I bet you’ve found that too!

So in December I got sent two Pedirelax Creams to try…..

Last weekend, my husband was bitching about how sore his feet were after an entire month of December in flip flops and bare foot. His heels were cracked and painful and he’d reverted back to takkies and socks because not only did his heels look horrendous, but they were really sore too.

I figured he’d be the perfect guinea pig to try the Pedirelax Diabetic Foot Care Cream!

Now, my husband, like a lot of men I think, is not big on creams and lotions and potions. In fact, he’s downright horrible with it, so I didn’t hold out much hope of him being a great test subject for this review and believe me, he wasn’t, but his results are still pretty amazing:

Day 1

He bitched and moaned and didn’t apply the cream twice a day as prescribed but, the results are still pretty impressive. This photo was taken exactly one week later, after just 7 applications:

One week & 7 applications later…

Pedirelax Diabetic Foot Care Cream hydrates and moisturises the skin, eliminating dryness and roughness. It’s clinically proven to increase micro-circulation (great if you constantly suffer from cold or blotchy feet or are inactive for extended periods) and has antiseptic and antifungal properties. The formula is rapidly absorbed and leaves no greasy film. Active ingredients & functions:

 Urea – improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture

 Lactamide – lactic acid-derived humectant

 Piroctane Olamine – inhibits fungal growth and prevents infection

 Glycerine – humectant, moisturiser

 Butcher’s Broom extract – improves circulation

Pedirelax Diabetic Foot Care Cream 100ml is available from Clicks and Dis-Chem at a recommended retail price of R99.95.

Pretty amazing right?

I put the Pedirelax Regenerative Cream to the test and was amazed with the results too!

Unlike my husband, I’m pretty good about looking after my feet. I get regular pedicures and file my heels regularly. I also apply a heel balm at night. I don’t apply anything during the day because every product I’ve tried before is so greasy I land up sliding around in my shoes all day and I’ve found they make my feet sweat even more. They smell horrid and are just far to greasy.

But I loved the Pedirelax Regenerative Cream, it smells pleasant for starters, has the consistency of a lotion but once emulsified, it forms a greasy texture that feels moisturizing but gets completely absorbed into my feet. I’ve used it not just on my heels, but all over my feet and I’ve definitely seen an improvement in my dry cuticles.

Pedirelax Regenerative Cream, intended for feet that’s prone to damage and cracking. The good news is that the formula is feather light – you can put on your sandals within minutes after applying and you won’t slip around in your shoes. Active ingredients & functions:

 Vitamin E – encourages skin healing

 Vitamin F – reduces moisture loss, restores lipid barrier

 Lavender – improves circulation and protects cell membranes

 Thyme – antiseptic, prevents secondary infection

Pedirelax Regenerative Foot Cream 50ml is available from Dis-Chem at a recommended retail price of R79.95.

Pretty awesome right?
