The Younilook was sent to me in exchange for a review and it could not have arrived at a better time. I have noticed in the past few months that my eyesight is deteriorating, even with my glasses and contact lenses in, I still battle to see fine print, so typically a case of presbyopia (long-sightedness caused by loss of elasticity of the lens of the eye, occurring typically in middle and old age.)

This makes makeup application and general grooming very difficult because I can’t really see what I’m doing. But the Younilook solves that problem.

How Younilook Works

I found this video on Youtube that shows you exactly how to set up your Younilook, what I love most about it is that it’s portable, so I can also take it with me when I travel.

Simple right? It’s actually so simple it’s ridiculous.

I’ve been using my Younilook for about a month now, it’s taken up permanent residence on my bathroom mirror and the thing that blew me away right off the bat, aside from the simplicity of the design, is how clearly I can see. Every single little white whisker on my chinny chin chin that I battle to see but can ALWAYS feel in-between facial threading sessions is now visible and easily removed.  Not to mention those ghastly grey, wayward eyebrows.

The Lenses

The Younilook comes with a set of 4 lenses of varying strengths,  ideal for anyone struggling with presbyopia or farsighted. What’s even better is that the lenses correct both eyes simultaneously for you to see perfectly in focus, free of any distortions. So it really works so much better than a regular magnifying mirror.

Younilook is now available locally online from Takealot and Makro for R695.00
