On Sunday, I headed off to Sorbet Fourways, a little under the weather and somewhat hung over after attending a 30th birthday party the night before and I’m glad I made the effort, I was the first lucky Sorbet Fourways guest to experience the all new custom Dermalogica experience. Which started out with my choice of botanical tea, choosing between revitalizing, which contains a stimulating blend of Cinnamon, Clove & Peppermint, soothing, which contains a blend of Lavender and Peppermint or clearing, which is a blend of Chamomile, Rosehips& Hibiscus.
I went with revitalizing because of how I was feeling and this not only meant that I got to enjoy the revitalizing botanical tea but the revitalizing aromatherapy oils were also incorporated into my facial.
As usual, Koki pampered and treated me, starting with the beautiful precleanse from Dermalogica, I LOVE their precleanse, it contains Kukui, Apricot and Borge See oils and has the most incredible smell, from the moment Koki applies the precleanse using pressure point touch, I immediately start to feel myself relax. This time around, Koki also used a combination peel on my face, a chemical and manual peel. I haven’t had a chemical peel in very many years and I won’t lie… when they say it tingles…. IT’s a LIE! It stings like a mofo but leaves my skin looking amazing! And I really did feel truly revitalized after my treatment, I mean check out that glow!
