I haven’t done one of these posts in ages. But recently I stumbled across a couple of products that I am loving and they are worthy of special mention, so here you go!

My September beauty favourites include products from Naturals Beauty & Mineral Line.

The products I’m reviewing cover everything from specialized facial care to body care and they are not only reasonably priced but, oh, so good!

First up…. Mineral Line…

I’m still rather confused about the name of this products guys….. On the packaging, it’s called MineralinĂ© but it’s available exclusively to Dischem and on their site, they have it listed as Mineral Line. So who knows, I wanted refer you guys to their Face Book page but the naming convention confused the hell out of me, but if you want to see the full range, you can see it here: Dischem

About the range….

A world famous treasure-trove of health and beauty since ancient times, the Dead Sea is an endless source of health-promoting and body balancing elements. Mineral Line incorporates the natural benefits of the Dead Sea, amongst many other natural ingredients, into an outstanding skin care line.

I’ve been using the hand cream from the range, but recently, I got to try a few more products from the range and I’m completely crazy about these two:

Mineral Line Facial Mud Mask

I’ve used this mask about 3 times now and love the deep cleansing, toning and tightening effect it has on my skin. It tingles like crazy when you first apply, so don’t panic if you give it ago, that’s totally normal. It contains 70% black mud from the Dead Sea, which is naturally rich in salts and minerals like Sillicon Compounds, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Alumina and Bromide.

Best of all, it costs only R60!

Mineral Line Body Butter

The Body Butter is R160 and it is heavenly.

It’s deeply moisturizing with hydrating elements that replenish moisture levels and the active agents carry vitamins and minerals to the upper layers of the skin to re-balance, nourish and restore softness.

I love this product. It smells clean and best of all, it’s not greasy. Unlike other body butters that are literally like a butter you have to rub to get to penetrate the skin, this product is more like a light cream but with a deeply moisturizing effect.

Naturals Beauty

I’ve been using The Essentials Collection Night Cream and Anti-Aging Serum for a few months now so I was super excited to try out a few more products from the range.

I’ve been using the Day Cream and Avocado Night Treatment and I’m loving it.

While I have more mature skin, with all the usual skin concerns that come along with that, I also have traditionally combination skin type. So I always prefer a light day cream that doesn’t make me too oily during the day and then to really slather on the oils and the heavy skin treatments at night. So the Day Cream from the range is perfect. It’s light and hydrating but without leaving me looking like an oil slick.

A luxurious, moisturising cream with nourishing, hydrating and cell stimulating properties. Firming, energising and anti-wrinkle actions comes from the Baobab Extract and Oil (containing omega 3,6,9), Soybean Oil (with lecithin), Avocado Oil (vitamins A,E,B), Cucumber Extract and Sutherlandia extract which keeps skin healthy and are ideal for all skin types.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Water, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin , Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Seed Oil, Sutherlandia Frutescens Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Oil, Eriocephalus Punctulatus (Cape Chamomile) Oil.

But the real winner is the Avocado Night Treatment.

This is a night cream or a night treatment for very dry or aging skin – Avocado oil assists in the regeneration and rejuvenation of the skin. It is also high in sterolins, which help heal sun damage and scars and reduce age spots. Sterolins also helps to soften the skin and leaves a superior moisturizing effect. Avocado oil increases the collagen in the skin and is easily absorbed into deep tissue of the skin.

Ingredients: Avocado oil (Persea Americana), Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus armeniaca), Geranium hydrosol, beeswax (cera alba), Sorbitan Olivate, Rosemary extract (Rosmarinus officinalis), Tocopherol (vitamin e), geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oil, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin

What surprised me about this product is that even though it is VERY rich, it penetrates the skin beautifully, so it doesn’t leave me greasy and it smells amazing.

Of course, another strong selling point for the Naturals Beauty range is how affordable it is. The Avocado Night Treatment is just R75 and the Essentials Day Cream is only R115!

The full Naturals Beauty Range is available from The Beautiful Store and don’t forget those Beauty Star Rewards, which make already affordable skin care even more enticing, not to mention free delivery too!
